About the series
Cafe Conversations
Cafe Conversations
Creators: Elizabeth Murray
Cafe Conversations is comprised of interconnected conversations which all take place in a Brooklyn Cafe. It deals with the absurdity and frustrations of everyday situations and the foolish and undoubtedly mortifying things we all do in our interactions with the opposite sex. It follows a waitress and six customers who are all addicted to coffee, desperate for love, and are all completely at the mercy of pop culture. Much like an excerpt from Overheard in New York, each episode is a 90 second comic conversation between two friends. While each set of characters appear to be separate from the others as the series continues it becomes clear how their lives begin to intersect.

Police Unit 1
Police Unit 1
Creator: Eric Kline
Police Unit 1 is about a federal police agency that fights domestic terrorism. What makes it unique is that it is done in the world of the action figure and it is animated in a form of stop animation. The fictional storyline goes like this, the government created a new branch off of Homeland Security to share the work load with the FBI. The new Police Units are like the king of regular, local police agencies. Officer Frank is the commanding officer of the first Police Unit. Him and his partner, Officer Roger who is second in command, have four other well trained ex-swat officers. Together with local agencies, Police Unit 1 gathers information to try and prevent atrocities from happening. Police Units will respond to 911 calls, yes, but they are secondary responders if the threat level requires their attention. Their headquarters is in a special office with a built-in interrogation room. The Police Units have special vehicles and weapons. All the police agents know martial arts, so sometimes they literally take down their enemies in hand to hand combat. This series is shot on personally designed sets and shot in a certain look, such as 16x9. The personal stories of the characters are spread out in the series. Not everything about the characters are shown in these first few episodes. The terrorists are the same way. Some questions of who or what are answered later on. This terrorist group is organized with the leader, then the elite guards in red hats, and then the regular guards. Basically, as the story progresses, more answers will present themselves and more information about particular characters will also come into the light.

The Record Shop
The Record Shop
Creator: Joe Gonzales
The Record Shop is a group of eclectic characters that make up an independent music store. The music store as a business is a dying breed and the store will do whatever it takes to keep their mind off of that inevitability. What sets this show apart from other sitcoms is the multicultural aspect of the workers inside The Record Shop. Too many sitcoms are either an all White, an all African American, or all Hispanic cast, there's no real mix. As all music stores should be, it will be full of crazy customers, situations - employees and not to mention music.
